About: Dr. Collins J. Owek is a public health and global health leader with over 20 years’ experience in health systems strengthening, implementation science, and research management across Africa. He is a Senior Lecturer and Academic Leader at Uzima University and serves as a Consultant Qualitative Data Analyst for The Rescue Initiative–South Sudan. A Fellow in Global Health Leadership (University of Nairobi & University of Washington), Dr. Owek has extensive expertise in epidemiology, knowledge translation, and project management. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and continues to mentor postgraduate students in global health, epidemiology, and health systems research.
