About: Amoo Esther A. graduated from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology with a degree in Pure and Applied Biology, specializing in Microbiology. She also holds a master's degree in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Lagos. She currently works at GeneLab Bioscience as a Technical Sales Specialist for the Oxford Nanopore Technology portfolio. She formerly held positions as a project manager for the Population Genomics and Cancer research group at one of Nigeria's top medical research facilities and as a research assistant. Her primary area of study is genomics. Her primary areas of interest include early disease diagnosis and utilizing genetic and genomics technologies to estimate an individual's risk of contracting a disease.
