This summer, it was an honour to host colleagues from The Global Health Network Africa after the Pandemic Sciences Institute Conference. The opportunity to discuss future plans and spark new ideas was invaluable. The aim of The Global Health Network Africa is to bring health research ability and activities to every healthcare setting in Africa. The utmost goal is to achieve equity where research happens and who benefits from the evidence produced. The programme seeks to support the uptake and implementation of capacity strengthening and data science initiatives and practices across the region.
